Our Botanical Home Fragrance

We think there's something rather lovely about walking into a room that carries the gentle scent of roses, lavender or freshly gathered herbs.

Not a fragrance that announces itself as soon as you open the door, but one that quietly becomes part of the room. The sort of scent that catches your attention as you pass a favourite bowl on the table, or reminds you of a summer walk through the garden.

That's the kind of home fragrance we believe in.

Here on our family farm in the Usk Valley, the changing seasons shape everything we do. Roses in summer, lavender in July, herbs from the kitchen garden, seed heads from the meadow and grasses as the fields begin to turn gold all become part of the story. Many of the flowers, herbs and botanicals that inspire our collections are grown and gathered here before being dried carefully to preserve as much of their natural beauty as possible.

Everything begins with the changing seasons.

Inspired by the Landscape

We don't begin with a fragrance trend or a colour palette of dyed botanicals.

We begin outside.

A walk through ancient woodland. The scent of roses after summer rain. Lavender drying in the old barn. Seed heads catching the evening light along a hedgerow. A field of barley turning from green to gold.

Those quiet moments become the inspiration behind our collections.

Because no two years are ever quite the same, neither are the botanicals we gather. Each harvest carries its own character, making every season just a little different from the last.

More Than Pot Pourri

When people hear the words pot pourri, they often picture brightly coloured petals scented with strong perfumes.

Traditional natural pot pourri is something rather different.

It's a thoughtful blend of flowers, herbs, leaves, grasses and seed heads, each chosen for its fragrance, colour or texture. Together they create something that feels gathered from the landscape rather than manufactured in a factory.

Our botanical home fragrance collection celebrates that tradition, using dried botanicals to create seasonal blends inspired by the Usk Valley and the countryside that surrounds it.

Why We Choose Botanicals

Home fragrance doesn't have to come from sprays, plug-ins or heavily scented candles or wax melts.

We believe there's another way.

Flowers that fade gently as the seasons pass. Leaves that curl naturally as they dry. Seed heads that remind us of late summer walks. The quiet fragrance of lavender lingering in a hallway or the soft scent of roses drifting across a room.

Sometimes the gentlest scents are the ones that make a house feel most like home.

Rather than disguising nature, we prefer to celebrate it.

Made Naturally

Nature does much of the work for us.

Once our botanicals have been carefully dried, we blend them by hand and, where appropriate, enhance them with carefully chosen essential oils. The aim is never to overpower a room, but to create a fragrance that feels gentle, balanced and true to the landscape that inspired it.

The result is botanical home fragrance that changes subtly over time, just as the flowers and herbs themselves do.

Rooted in the Usk Valley

Everything we create begins on our family farm in South Wales.

It's the place that inspires every collection and reminds us that nature never stands still. The roses are in peak bloom for a few weeks, lavender reaches its peak in midsummer, and autumn brings seed heads, grasses and warm earthy colours that quietly signal the changing year.

Perhaps that's why our home fragrance is never about chasing perfection.

It's about celebrating the seasons exactly as they are.

Bringing a little of the Usk Valley indoors.
