The Usk Rose Balm
Some things are worth doing properly.
This is a balm built around genuine rose essential oil and frankincense — not fragrance, not extract, not a trace amount added for marketing purposes. Real ingredients, used at levels that make a difference to skin.
In the field directly behind our farmhouse, our sister grower Usk Valley Roses tends its roses. We make this balm a few steps away. That proximity — to the land, to the growers, to the way things are done here in the Usk Valley — is what shapes everything we put in the jar.
The base is rosehip seed oil, argan, and jojoba — a combination chosen specifically for mature, dry, or sensitive skin that needs nourishment without heaviness. It absorbs beautifully, leaves no residue, and the scent — warm rose softened by frankincense — is subtle enough for daytime, indulgent enough for a bedtime ritual.
Keep it on your bathroom shelf or bedside table. Use it every evening. Your skin will soon start to thank you.
How to use
Warm a small amount between your fingertips and press gently into skin. Face, lips, hands, cuticles — wherever needs attention. A little goes a long way.
